Casa Bianca is beautifully located at the edge of Santa Domenica di Ricadi, so that you get to know the life of the locals in the small village as well as enjoy peace and quietness during your holiday. The beach can easily be reached on foot via a staircase just nearby Casa Bianca. You have a stunning view over the sea and the Tyrrhenian coast from almost all rooms of Casa Bianca, the roof terrace and the garden. At clear days while having a glas of wine you see 5 of the 7 Aeolian Islands and enjoy the most picturesque sunsets. You can also watch the regular eruptions on the volcanic island of Stromboli. 

Casa Bianca is generously divided on two floors with a large panoramic terrace on the 1st floor and a terrace surrounded by a beautiful garden with a built-in barbecue and sink, typical and practical for the outdoor living that you enjoy in Southern Italy. On the ground floor there is the comfortably equipped kitchen, which is adjoined to the open dining and living room, and a glass porch, from which you can access the garden and the terrace. There are a total of four bedrooms, two on the ground floor and two upstairs. On each floor is a bathroom (one with a shower and one with a bathtub). The house is perfect for two families or a larger group of friends. A maximum of 8 people can occupy the house. Sea view can be enjoyed from all the rooms of the house except the two smaller bedrooms. 
 
Your host is a very nice German couple, who likes to rent their property to holiday guests in periods where they do not stay in the house themselves. The house equipment therefore is northen Europe standard and of course a simple communication in German or English rounds up your vacation. On site, the friendly next door neighbors, Italians, are responsible for all organization and maintaining. The house is suitable for a holiday all year round, as all rooms have heating. Who loves nature and landscape, should visit Calabria also during fall and winter. In December, Calabria's colors glow with ripe oranges and lemons. In the warm midday sun on some days you can also take a short bath at North Sea temperatures.
 
Dogs are welcome! The garden (600 qm) is completed sourrounded by a fence! Please let us know in advance if you would like to bring your loved pet!

The prices are for a maximum of 4 persons. Prices are per night, minimum stay 4 nights. From the second week the rent is lower.

The house can be occupied by a maximum of 8 people. Included in the price are additional costs such as water, electricity and gas. Even the heating costs are included in the costs due to a solar system on the roof. 
Extra costs:
Final cleaning costs € 60.00.The house must be handed over orderly. 
Tourist tax (€ 0.50 / person / day). 
Bed linen and towels € 15.00 per person.
Your hosts do not expect a deposit as they had only positive experience with former guests. 
 

Information on the location

Casa Bianca is located on the outskirts of Santa Domenica di Ricadi, 2 km south of Tropea on the Tyrrhenian coast of Calabria. Santa Domenica is a quiet little village where you can do your shopping well. Especially the small bakery on the Corso, which is a bit hidden, offers delicious freshly baked bread, small mini pizzas and ciabatta with olives in the morning. In the middle of the well-stocked supermarket and in front of it you will find a small selection of wines and the local specialties, `Nduja (hot sausage paste), cheese etc. In the two pasticcerias and in the bar Mascalzone you can drink your cappuccino in the morning or enjoy an aperitif in the evening or eat homemade ice cream. On Mondays there is the weekly market, where you can buy fresh vegetables, fruits, cheese and sausages but also clothes, household goods and flowers. In addition, there is a small post office, a pharmacy, a bank and a petrol station as well as a selection of restaurants. There is also a train station in Santa Domenica. 5 minutes walking distance. The small regional train costs almost nothing and drives you from Lamezia Terme to Rosarno and stops in all the pretty coastal towns such Pizzo, Nicotera, Parghelia, Zambrone etc.   The beaches and bays between Santa Domenica and Capo Vaticano are among the most beautiful in Calabria. By car, these can be reached from your holiday home in just a few minutes.  
 
Only 2 km away is the old noble town of Tropea also know as the perle of Calabria. Beautiful beaches stretch along several bays. The old town of Tropea is criss-crossed by small, narrow streets on which the loud and typical southern Italian life takes place. Numerous shops invite you to stroll and shop and a wide range of restaurants offer you the specialties of the region. The Norman cathedral of Tropea and also the numerous aristocratic palaces in the old town with their beautiful portals are of historical interest. "Isola Bella" (Beautiful Island) with its beautiful chapel can be admired during an aperitif in the sunset from one of the viewing terraces Tropea. It is worth visiting it. You have an amazing view of Tropea and the complete coast.
