Beach flat on private property on the Ionian coast. This holiday flat is ideal for a family or a couple for a beach holiday.
Appartamento Tartaruga is only a 10-minute walk from Santa Caterina dello Ionio Marina. A car is recommended for shopping and excursions, but you can also walk into the small town. Either along the beach or on a sneaky path (which I will tell you of course).
Santa Caterina dello Ionio Marina: The villages along the Ionian coast of Calabria are almost always divided into an area directly on the sea and an old borgo (old town) slightly offset on the hill with a fantastic panoramic view of the coast.
Santa Caterina dello Ionio Marina: Three very nice restaurants (one of them within walking distance), several bars, a very good pasticceria for breakfast, ice cream or aperitivo. Post office with ATM, two small supermarkets, bakery, post office, pharmacy, pizzeria a taglio (take-away), weekly market (Monday mornings), playground in a small pineta, beach promenade, Lidos.
Santa Caterina dello Ionio Borgo: The district on the hill a little inland is very pretty. It takes about 10 minutes by car. Great view! Village trattoria, bar, post office and a very nice young initiative for guided donkey walks: Avamposto.
Location directly on the sea in the first line on a private property and with a private piece of beach. The manager of the private property and his family are very nice and you will enjoy a wonderful relaxing holiday here! The beaches on the Ionian coast are extensive, natural with dunes. You can walk for kilometres here!
