Ludomar
Beachfront Vacation!
Where the beaches are still wild and empty! Ludomar is a small oasis, family-run by Giuseppe and Ilaria, who go out of their way to pamper their guests. You can walk to the beach directly from the property via a small trail through the untouched dunes. The beach stretches for kilometers, and even during the high season, you’ll have plenty of space!
A perfect spot for nature lovers! My daughters and I loved it there—pure relaxation!
Important for those who are very noise-sensitive: a country road passes by the property. We stayed there for a few days in August 2021 and didn’t find it disturbing at all! The location, the surrounding nature, the walk to the beach, the beach itself, and the comfortable apartments more than make up for it!
The small Ludomar complex offers several apartments and rooms. Breakfast can be booked upon request!
Here are my picks for the two nicest apartments! Both are on the first floor and offer beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. There are also ground-floor apartments with garden access available.

Hammocks, outdoor seating areas in the garden, a barbecue, a sundeck with an outdoor shower on the roof, and much more are available for the shared use of all guests.
If you’re in the mood for a change of scenery from your local beach, head to the beaches of Pietragrande—my favorite is the family-run Lido Tropical! Say hello to Antonella!

For the best granita in Sant’Andrea Apostolo dello Ionio Marina, visit the Pasticceria Sant’Andrea! Order it con panna (with cream) and don’t miss the delicious cannoli and other amazing Southern Italian pastries!
Right next to the pasticceria: Salumeria – Macelleria Nisticò – a shop like from the past! They have everything, including panini made fresh for your outings!
