A place for a vacation where you can truly relax! Just being in this spot, high above the sea, with a view of the vast surrounding waters and the fascinating Strait of Messina. The Aeolian Islands greet you on the horizon like submerged dinosaurs, and even Mount Etna is visible!

The location of Villa Cesare is uniquely beautiful. It is tucked away and accessible only via a small dirt road along the steep coastline below the charming little village of Coccorino. Slightly further inland, there is a second private property with a house, but it is far enough away to ensure privacy.

You can drive to the small beach and lungomare of Coccorino or walk there in about 20 minutes. The return uphill, especially during hot summer days, takes a bit longer. Coccorino has a small general store where you can buy everything you need for daily life and a pharmacy. For larger purchases, head to the nearby village of San Nicolo di Ricadi. Tropea is about a 30-minute drive away.

Villa Cesare is a comfortably equipped holiday home with a spacious and cozy living room featuring sofas, a long dining table, and an open kitchen area. The house has three bedrooms, each with a double bed, and two bathrooms.

Around the house is a large garden area with a built-in barbecue, a pizza oven, an outdoor shower, and plenty of seating. It’s the perfect place to relax with your family or for a holiday with a group of friends.

Villa Cesare is located about 16 km from Tropea, below the small village of Coccorino, south of Capo Vaticano.
 

Coccorino

A typical small village with a mini market for your groceries and a pharmacy.

  • Capo Vaticano with restaurants, beaches, and lidos is just 10 minutes away.

  • The next small village, Joppolo, also has many nice places to eat.

Tropea
